I was relaxing on a music workshop in Turkey, Istanbul, as I got a call or sms, anyway, by Janez Sečnik, inviting me to record some harmonica to his music project. So, after comming back from Turkey, riding 60 hours train ( Bolgaria, Romunia, Hungary, Slovenia ), I went and recorded for him, and I asked him, if he could play some blues guitar to my song.
I have written this song in a Computer and Information science faculty class room, inspired by a nice looking student, and words somehow just fell from the sky, they only had to be arranged a bit, and here's what I got.
I think she got a first copy of the text, but It would be a miracle if she would get in touch with me again.
Anyway, enjoy the song, which I have performed many times already, and recorded in several variants, but could say, that this is the first studio version.
2nd track of harmonica was added over the first recording of us 2 playing in the same room, so you can hear 2 harmonicas, I play them both.
Enjoy the music, and feel free to choose the amount of donation.
lyrics
Do you have it fire, to play, to sing, to stay with you?
Do you have it water, to talk, to dance, to walk with you?
Do you have someone, to be for some-one?
On the left, on the right, in front of me, o-or behind,
far away, close to me, here's you face, i can see,
wherever you are, you shine like a star...
Whatever i sing, whatever i play,
i have a little problem, to know what to say, bu-ut
he-ey fire, hey water, whatever i do,
you must know, that i love you.
Whatever i play, whatever i sing,
i have a little problem, to know what to think, bu-ut
he-ey fire, hey water, whatever i do,
you must know, that i love you.
